La Garrofa is a short sheltered cove of dark sand, gravel and rocky seabed, enclosed by arid slopes dropping directly into the Mediterranean. It contrasts sharply with the gulf’s broad urban beaches.
Access and parking are limited beside the old N-340a coast road and campsite.
