Broad golden-sand beach by Rodalquilar, overlooked by the 18th-century San Ramón battery, with rich seabeds for diving.
El Playazo de Rodalquilar is about 400 metres long by 30 wide, with fine golden sand, calm water and a gentle slope well suited to families. At its northern end stands the San Ramón battery, a Renaissance four-cannon fort built in 1764 on a fossilised dune. Its richly diverse seabeds make it a popular spot for scuba divers.
