Artisan crema tostada ice cream and traditional pastry in Berja, with a terrace and the 2024 Ruta de la Tapa sweet prize on the shelf.
Cafetería Pastelería Jiménez, on Calle Rafael Alberti in Berja, was opened by Antonio Jiménez in 2017 and pairs ice cream with traditional pastry. It won the sweet category at Berja's 17th Ruta de la Tapa (2024) with "Canelita y limón" and is the artisan ice cream reference of the Almería Alpujarra.
In the cabinet, nata, chocolate, vanilla and crema tostada ice creams, with no-added-sugar versions and gluten-free cones; and beside them, cakes and pastry for an afternoon treat.
With a terrace and an indoor room with table service, it works as well for a strolling scoop as for a slow sit-down.
