Churrería Cafetería El Palomar, in the El Palomar estate of Huércal de Almería, is run by Juan and Nazaré. Their filled churros began as a ham-and-cheese improvisation and are now the reason to come: sweet versions with coffee, Nutella, pistachio, Oreo, Lotus or Abrucena strawberries, alongside the classic churros with hot chocolate.
Open mornings from 7:30 (closed Thursdays) and through the afternoon from Friday to Sunday; if you would rather stay put, it delivers too.
