Story and present
Fondón lives between vineyards and a fertile vega, in the upper part of the Andarax valley. Its municipal territory, one of the largest in the comarca, also takes in two hamlets: Benecid and Fuente Victoria. Together with Laujar de Andarax and Alcolea, it ranks among the province’s largest wine-growing areas.
