A small cove of golden sand, set among white volcanic tuff rocks and fossilised dunes. Reached on foot from Agua Amarga along a clifftop trail.

Cala de Enmedio is a gem of barely 130 m of fine sand, almost free of stones, surrounded by spectacular formations of white volcanic tuff. These porous rocks, sculpted by wind and water erosion over thousands of years, form rounded shapes, folds and platforms over the sea, alongside fossilised dunes.

It has no road access: it is reached on foot from the southern edge of Agua Amarga along the trail towards San Pedro, in about 30-40 minutes of easy walking between hills of esparto grass and dwarf palm. It is an unspoilt, peaceful cove with crystal-clear waters, one of the most photogenic in the park.
