El Retamar Beach

← Beaches
27 km from Alhama

The last urban beach before the Natural Park: 600 metres of coarse sand with a promenade, just before the Rambla del Agua.

Retamar closes the gulf's urbanised coastline: some 600 metres of coarse sand and small pebbles fronting the residential quarter and its promenade, between El Toyo and the Rambla del Agua, where the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park begins.

Showers, playgrounds and water sports round off a comfortable, uncrowded beach — an ideal base for exploring nearby Torregarcía and Las Amoladeras.
