Tarta San Marcos, tarta Santa Paula and handmade bonbons from Almería's oldest working confectioner, with its own workshop since 1888 and five shops in town.
La Dulce Alianza has been making sweets in Almería since 1888 in its own workshop. Of the city's historic confectioners, such as La Puntualidad (1864) or La Sevillana (1866), it is the one still trading: the doyenne of those still open. It holds a Solete from the Guía Repsol.
Its hallmarks are the tarta San Marcos, the tarta Santa Paula, handmade chocolate bonbons and everyday pastries; also catering and custom cakes to order.
The Paseo de Almería shop is the main one, and the house has outlets on Avenida de la Estación, the Paseo Marítimo, the Torrecárdenas shopping centre and Aguadulce. If you would rather not move, order online for pickup or delivery, or through Glovo.
