Rosquillas Mónica is a three-generation family bakery in Alhama, one of the houses still making the rosquilla de Alhama. Production has been modernised with machinery, but the recipe is unchanged.
Besides the olive-oil rosquillas there are white- and dark-chocolate-coated and wholemeal versions; and for a snack, magdalenas, chocolate ensaimadas, napolitanas and pañuelos.
