Sabor Helado is the second life of a Vélez-Rubio ice cream family in the trade since 1978: in 2023 the founders' children opened an artisan workshop on Calle Esencias. It belongs to the Sabores Almería brand for ice creams and desserts.
This is not a cone-and-stroll parlour but a workshop: its speciality is large-format tubs, meant to fill the home freezer or a party table, plus made-to-order desserts.
