The largest water park in Almería province: 45,000 m² of slides, pools and gardens just 800 metres from Las Salinas beach in Roquetas de Mar.
Mario Park is the flagship water park of Almería province. Its 45,000 m² stretch between Roquetas de Mar and Aguadulce, on former salt flats just 800 metres from Las Salinas beach. The attractions cluster around a central mound from which the big slide towers rise, surrounded by six pools and generous tree-lined green areas that contrast with the semi-desert landscape.
Thrill-seekers head for the Kamikazes, Black Hole, Súper Tornado, Turbulance, Ciclón and Boomerang. Family favourites include the Multipistas racing lanes, wave pool, Río Bravo river, Zig-Zag slide, jacuzzi and two large lakes (blue lake and activity lake). Younger children get their own area with the Boomerang Junior and a shallow kids' lagoon.
Services cover the whole day: self-service restaurant, pizzeria-burger stand, kiosks, ice-cream parlour and crêperie, plus a bar with picnic area. The park has changing rooms, showers, paid lockers, sunbed and float rental, paid Balinese beds and a VIP zone, and ample parking. From Alhama de Almería it is roughly a 35-40 minute drive via the A-92 and A-391.
