Seven hectares opened in December 2023: three play areas, a 2,000 m² pump track, water features, calisthenics, sports courts and picnic areas. The best-equipped in the province.
Seven hectares opened on 5 December 2023, with more than €5.7 million invested. It is named Parque San José, after the province’s patron saint, and it is the best-equipped park in the Poniente.
Its centrepiece is Andalusia’s largest pump track: over 2,000 m² with two separate lines, one for children and one for advanced riders, taking bikes, scooters and skateboards. The three large play areas are themed — sea, space and forest-recycling — with rockets, lighthouses, climbing nets, twisting slides and swings for every age.
The rest is taken up by a 2,100 m² Central Plaza with a kiosk-restaurant, a 2,700 m² Amphitheatre Plaza for cultural events, calisthenics and outdoor-fitness zones, water features, sports courts, picnic areas and two circuits of roughly a kilometre each, with luminescent paving, for running or riding.
