Artisan ice cream made daily, with Almería watermelon as its flag and dares like smoked pepper: the parlour Ana and Pedro opened in Adra in 2018.
La Yaya Heladería Artesanal was founded by Ana Soto and Pedro Baños in 2018. The Adra shop, on Avenida del Mediterráneo, is the first of four: Almerimar, Balerma and Garrucha complete the network, and all four appear in the 2026 Guía del Heladero Artesanal. The house holds the first prize for Best Dessert 2024, a Guía Repsol Solete and the Q for Tourism Quality, and belongs to the Gelato Day network.
The ice cream is made daily. The hallmark is the Almería watermelon flavour, and for curious palates there are gourmet ideas such as smoked pepper; also crêpes, waffles, breakfasts and catering.
